DJ Training School

Welcome to The Dublin Media Centre website. We have been in operation since 1995 and offer a range of evening courses designed and developed to meet the demand for highly-trained personnel in the Broadcasting and Media Industries in Ireland.

We specialise in providing reasonably-priced evening classes in the areas of broadcasting, media studies, news presentation and DJ Training.

We are currently enrolling for three courses to commence - the Group 1 Foundation Broadcasting course, the Advanced Broadcasting course and the DJ Training School course.

The instructors on our courses are unique in that they are all skilled professionals, currently holding posts in the broadcasting and media industries - with the result that our tutors have years of experience to their credit.

Broadcasting Courses

We currently offer two broadcasting and media studies programmes in the Dublin area:
(i) The Group 1 Foundation Broadcasting course
(ii) The Advanced Broadcasting course

Both of these programmes cover a broad range of areas within broadcasting including Presentation Skills, Voice-Training, News compilation and delivery, studio operation techniques, producing and commercial production techniques (sound engineering).

The DJ Training School

The DJ Training School is operated in association with Star DJ's, Ireland's largest DJ company. The DJ Training School was established to provide a forum for young Irish Disc Jockey's to learn this exiting profession in a new and innovative way. Some of the areas covered include technical skills, voice projection, music mixing, DJ party games and more.
